Blue Ice now has a development page there which hosts message boards, bug-tracking, etc. I encourage you to get familiar with it. However, I will continue to post the main news here, where it will probably have a better chance of being seen. About tag coloring, here's the deal: In a while I will release a beta of the next version, code-named Kohath. This release will be labeled 2.6.91 and will not include tag coloring, unlike the current release. Kohath will simply be a rebuild of existing code to use the new menus and edit control. 2.6.92 will include new features, and when tag coloring is complete the whole thing will be released as Blue Ice 2.7. Some of the changes currently planned in the final 2.7 release: A custom open/save dialog with autofill and a frequently-used-directories feature Image dimensions displayed in the Image dialog Much better undo/redo support Ability to have a background bitmap in the editor merely for coolness Better syntax highlighting - attributes, different kinds of tags will have different colors (tentative) Toolbar buttons now use GNOME icons (in case of a future Linux port) Various improvements in the code Version History v2.6.2 Fixed a bug in the options dialog which forgot to load the "check for default browser" setting. Fixed bug that caused the FONT tag creator to always include the color code, whether it had changed or not. Blue Ice now uses the Visual Basic 6.0 runtimes. In addition, you must have Visual Basic 6.0 installed in order to use the included source code. If you have version 5.0, download Blue Ice 1.0. Some toolbar buttons now have drop-down menus, including the "New," "Open," and "Custom Application" buttons. The number of custom applications is no longer limited to three, and the three custom app toolbar buttons have been replaced with a single button and drop-down menu. Added support for OverLIB mouse-over effects in the Link dialog. Simplified the Autocomplete List editing feature on the Tools tab of the Options window Blue Ice now optionally checks to see whether it is the default editor (ie, the one associated with the Edit command on the right-click menu for HTML files).
